This website has been designed using Microsoft's Frontpage 2002 website development tool, and is intended to be compatible with most popular web browsers.  In the event that you have trouble viewing any of this website's content, please refer to the following information for assistance.  These instructions are intended to assist in making our web site more readable and therefore more user friendly.

 

This website is best viewed at resolutions of 800 x 600 pixels or higher, and using the latest version of Microsoft's Internet Explorer, although lower resolutions or different browsers will work.

 

The webmaster apologizes, but the information presented below is intended only for user's with Microsoft's Windows operating systems.  Mac OS, Linux, and Unix users are "on their own".  

 

Changing the Resolution of your Monitor - Viewers of this website that have their video monitor's resolution set to lower values may require an excessive amount of scrolling to view the information presented.  In some cases, this may also cause some of the information presented to appear off of the edge of the screen. 

This website is best viewed at video resolutions of 800 x 600 pixels or higher.  The resolutions supported by your computer is dependent on your monitor and the video card in your computer.  Fortunately, it is easy to try increasing the video resolution, so if your browser is not displaying a sufficient amount of information, use these directions to try increasing your monitor resolution:

Windows 9x/2000Pro/XP:

  • Right click with your mouse pointer positioned on a blank spot on your desktop.
  • Select Properties from the pop-up menu.
  • Left click on the Settings tab.
  • You should now be able to see the Desktop area/screen resolution slider bar.   
  • Moving the slider by holding down the left mouse button and dragging it to the left or to the right will change the resolutions.
  • The current resolution numbers will appear under the slider. Click on Apply and click on OK .
Changing Text Size - When viewing this website, text size is dependent on the type and version of the browser that you are using to view the Internet.  Changing the text size will allow you to display more (or less) text on the screen at the same time.

Please note that the page layout will be altered slightly as the text is enlarged. The instructions apply primarily to Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and above or Netscape Navigator 4.8 and above, though they may also apply to other browser versions.   Please refer to the 'Help' item at the top of your browser for more details.

For Internet Explorer users:

  • Open your Internet Explorer Web Browser
  • Select View from the menu at the top of the window
  • Choose Text size
  • Another menu should appear listing Smallest to Largest

  • Select a larger or smaller text size

  • The text in your browser window should now appear larger

Or:

  • If you have a computer with a wheel mouse, another method for changing text size when using Internet Explorer is to just hold down the CONTROL key and scroll the wheel up or down to increase or decrease text size.

For Netscape Navigator users:

  • Open your Netscape Navigator Web Browser

  • Select View from the menu at the top of the window

  • On earlier versions of Netscape, Click Increase or Decrease Font.  On later versions of Netscape, select Zoom Text, then select the desired text size

  • The text in your browser window should now appear larger or smaller

  • Repeat until the text is at the desired size

Usernames and Passwords - Members of Venture Crew 194 are given a Username and Password for the Crew's Roster Page.  They are also given a separate username and password for their own Personal Information Page. 

The username/password combinations are case sensitive, and they must be entered exactly as they appear when they were presented to you. 

The Crew's Roster page username and password cannot be used to access your Personal Information Page.  Likewise, the username and password for your Personal Information Page's cannot be used to access the Crew's Roster page.
